About this artwork
A young Chinese girl sets out to explore the world—both physically and mentally. I know this little soul well, and I am certain that her small head holds endless dreams, questions, and ideas. She sits on edge of familiar, gazing toward the unknown, ready to embrace the wonders of life with curiosity and courage . This artwork incorporates LED strips, creating a magical duality. When the light is off, we see a little girl lost in her thoughts. When the light is on, the Port of Piraeus emerges, symbolizing a gateway to different countries around the world. The piece is crafted using two materials: a very thin, yellowish fabric and a soft, natural-toned canvas. Inside the artwork, LED strips, a transformer, and a dimmer are installed, allowing the light intensity to be adjusted, offering a dynamic and interactive viewing experience.

About the artist
For the last 15 years I have been doing artistic workshops, being careful not to disturb the individuality of the student - Together we open the door to the world of art more widely. This contact with art through workshops is a wonderful experience for every person. It changes the perception of the entire reality that surrounds us. An ordinary sofa turns into a color framed by the line of the back. And looking at the original painting, we see a trace of the brush and it looks like the artist was here a while ago, and it doesn't matter that 100 years have passed...
