About this artwork
"One day, a friend of my daughter visited us. She radiated the beauty of a joyful, expectant mother, and I thought to myself—here is my Leda. In the heart of the painting, I placed LED strips, giving the piece two faces. When the light is off, we see a pregnant woman resting on pillows, playfully toying with a feather. She emanates a sense of calm and safety. Then, when the light is turned on, the grand wings of a bird emerge, guarding Leda with a protective embrace." The piece is created on burlap using acrylic putty, acrylic paints, oil paints, and golf leaf . Inside the artwork, LED strips, a transformer, and a dimmer are installed to adjust the intensity of the light.

About the artist
For the last 15 years I have been doing artistic workshops, being careful not to disturb the individuality of the student - Together we open the door to the world of art more widely. This contact with art through workshops is a wonderful experience for every person. It changes the perception of the entire reality that surrounds us. An ordinary sofa turns into a color framed by the line of the back. And looking at the original painting, we see a trace of the brush and it looks like the artist was here a while ago, and it doesn't matter that 100 years have passed...
