This piece works with its partner Spring is Coming 1 as a diptych or they can be hung together vertically also. My work continues to explore unusual colour combinations, shapes and line, emphasizing the raw energy of the painting process and revealing brushstrokes.

I am a fairly quiet person,but a very loud painter. Where I might hesitate to make my feelings known verbally, I let my paintbrush speak. I paint quickly, mainly with acrylics, using blends of bold primary colours and very physical full-arm strokes. My internal dialogue and feelings are translated through movement into the work using a variety of markmaking tools. My process is playful and free. I enrolled in an adult art program in 2016 then followed my passion for abstraction to teachers who taught about risk taking and following your intuition. My studio is in a shared space in Toronto .
