In piano keys half of the painting is loose and free and parts are a little more contrived with some rectangular shapes or more deliberate marks and texture for variety. It’s painted in pink, yellow and turquoise with some orange highlights .

I am a fairly quiet person,but a very loud painter. Where I might hesitate to make my feelings known verbally, I let my paintbrush speak. I paint quickly, mainly with acrylics, using blends of bold primary colours and very physical full-arm strokes. My internal dialogue and feelings are translated through movement into the work using a variety of markmaking tools. My process is playful and free. I enrolled in an adult art program in 2016 then followed my passion for abstraction to teachers who taught about risk taking and following your intuition. My studio is in a shared space in Toronto .
