Oil on canvas. 36x41 3/4 inches. I began this painting several months ago and it was just recently resolved. It depicts a wall tent that I stayed in at Tombstone Territorial Park in the Yukon during a residency there. The nights were cold, the tent poorly equipped with water running through it and the occasional visit of a little bird. It was an uncomfortable two weeks but it was paradise. I ate wild berries, painted the mountains and grew a beard.
