Painted on site at River Camp during the Fairy Creek Blockade over two weeks while camping on a logging road. This is the fifth and final portrait of ancient cedars painted as part of the overall campaign, advocating for the protection of these endangered trees and the ecosystems they support. These cedars are as old as 1000 years and are under constant threat of liquidation. These tree portraits chronicle two weeks of observational painting on site while police approach in the forest and fly overhead in helicopters.
