A work on paper - double portrait of sympathetic publishers, Sylvie Beach and Adrienne Monnier who owned bookstores across the street from each other in Paris. My title is the first thing they said to each other when they met.

About the artist
I studied at the San Francisco Art Institute, and received my Master of Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. For the past 12 years I have been making unconventional portraits of women artists, writers, performers and impresarios working, living and loving in the early 20th Century.
