My creative process often begins with a phrase or statement that resonates deeply with me—whether it’s a line from a song or something I come across in reading that lingers in my mind. This initial spark drives me to explore how I can translate those words onto the canvas, blending imagination with the emotions they evoke. While I generally start with a clear plan, I remain open to change, allowing colors and textures to take my work in unexpected directions. I am drawn to poetic expressions and simple truths, and I believe in the profound power of words. The paradoxes of a society that celebrates individuality while simultaneously urging conformity are themes that inspire me. Words possess the power to uplift or undermine, shaping our thoughts and behaviors as much as our actions shape our mindset. My hope is that each piece of art I create invites reflection, sparking new insights and connections.
