About this artwork
“How Mermaids Take Their Coffee” This piece explores my experimentation with various hues of blue, blending oil stick, ink, crayon, and acrylic paint on handmade paper. The layering of different mediums adds depth and texture, creating a dreamy, aquatic atmosphere reflective of the mermaid's world.

About the artist
I’m a South African-born multidisciplinary artist based in Toronto, working primarily in mixed media on paper. My art explores the interplay between nature, memory, and emotion, often drawing on my deep connection to the natural world. With layers of texture and organic forms, I aim to evoke a sense of wonder, reflecting the relationship between the physical and spiritual realms. My work has been featured in exhibitions, magazines, and private and corporate collections, and I’m always seeking new ways to connect and collaborate.
