This mixed media study was created as the Chanel Spring 24 runway show was being streamed live to my laptop. I tried to capture this look, the colour & texture of the dress and background, the movement of the model and the essence of the show in a fleeting few minutes. Later adding some from my memory of the look just past. I used various media including water ink, pencil and acrylic paint applied with a palette knife. The piece is created on natural recycled art paper and framed in black wood, glazed and with a white mount.
