About the artist
Developing her Glass and Voile Series whilst undertaking the Turps Correspondence Course in 2020, 2021 and 2022, Peskett’s recent work focuses on the fragility of life with underlying themes in her subjects drawn from her immediate environment. Peskett draws inspiration from photographs, painting primarily with oils, applying paint and wax to layers of primed silk, a unique process that she developed in 2015. She has regularly exhibited in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, Discerning Eye exhibition and Figurative Art Now. Her works are held in public, private and corporate collections in the UK, Hong Kong, US, Japan, Australia, Norway, Switzerland, Sweden, Singapore, Italy, France and Germany. Notable collections include: The BT collection, Telecom Tower, Bentley Headquarters, The Earl of Chichester, Leeds City Council, Verve Properties and SIP Partners London
