About the artist
Seneca Weintraut explores historical revisionism and scientific discovery in order to tease out an understanding of contemporary American identity. Weintraut's works interlace the production of a past that never quite was and our use of technologies which we as individuals can’t totally comprehend. His approach reveals positions of agreement with uncertainty, where only storytelling and accord can be relied upon to develop pathways towards cooperative understanding.
