About this artwork
"Alien Portrait" by Diego Tirigall is an original, unique painting executed with mixed media on a 1m x 1m canvas. This captivating work blends digital and traditional methods to present a deformed and mesmerizing face. Born from a mystical night, it features chaotic teeth that appear to float and rabbit ears from an earlier painting layer. Tirigall’s signature diamond motif and an arrow pointing to "A,B,C" on the chest contribute to its enigmatic nature. This neo-expressionist piece, with its tumultuous creation process and powerful presence, is a vivid example of artistic evolution.

About the artist
Born in Buenos Aires in 1976 and now based in Spain, Diego Tirigall grew up in a family of antique dealers and art restorers, instilling in him a deep respect for art from a young age. A self-taught artist, Tirigall has developed a unique style that blends elements of neo-expressionism, art brut, and street art. His work is characterized by bold primary colors and a knack for deconstructing pop culture, offering a critique of modern life while capturing its fleeting moments. Rather than focusing on the darker aspects, Tirigall's art serves as a canvas for memory, inviting viewers to reflect on shared experiences and the transient nature of our digital era.
