About this artwork
The painting titled "San Giorgio a Cremano" depicts the brave knight, Saint George, conquering a dragon. This modern piece represents the triumph of good over evil—the knight's victory over the serpent-like creature. Dressed in magnificent golden armor and a helmet with a yellow and green plume, Saint George embodies courage. The painting's backdrop is a deep blue, symbolizing the darkness of night—the haven of evil. Meanwhile, the dragon shines in bright green, highlighting its wickedness. Alongside the central scene, the all-seeing eye of God and the moon add mystical elements. The blue night contrasts with Saint George's radiant armor, signifying that he fights not just with weapons, but also with his inner light. This captivating artwork is perfect for decorating bedrooms, living rooms, or dining areas. Alessandro Siviglia’s collection features original unique pieces on colorful canvases—ranging from abstract compositions to figurative paintings, landscapes, and portraits.
