Inspired by the Impressionists and incorporating Post-Impressionism in my work, I have a deep affection for painting ballet dancers with a contemporary touch. It was a great opportunity to visit Degas’s birthplace, Paris, where I had the chance to see his works at the Louvre Museum. It was mesmerizing to witness not only Degas’s work but also that of many other masters of Impressionism and Post-Impressionist artists.
