I wanted to pay homage to some of the artists that I truly admire. The artists I chose in this piece were George Condo, Jean Michel Basquiat, Kaws, and Takashi Murakami. I also looked at this piece as inspiration for myself. Knowing that I too, one day will be great just as the artists I admire. I also wanted to inspire other artists like me to keep pushing towards their greatness as well.

I'm a contemporary visual artist from Glen Burnie, Maryland, who expresses his profound emotions using daily life situations, childhood memories, and nostalgic pop culture. The turbulence and triumphs of life have always inspired me. Cartoons and anime, the messages from lyrical content found in music, are also pieces of my inspiration. The representation of the halo of thrones in some of my works, defines the character’s perseverance. To be misunderstood, and endure so much pain and struggle, but yet continues to thrive. I'm spontaneous whenever I’m working. I love the freedom of improvising. I select what medium to use by mood. When people view my art, I want them to find my emotions as well as their own. I want it to appear as a mirror to connect with the viewer emotionally and spiritually.
