About this artwork
In this piece, I am giving the viewer a glimpse of my experience/world of my childhood of what I did with my family around Easter. As I child I remember, going to church, putting on a nice suit, and eating great food cooked by my grandmother. I called this piece "THIS AINT EASTER" because it was more of a tradition/lifestyle for those who I'm sure have done the same growing up in their younger years. The planets are represented in this piece as other kids realms who may have not experienced what I have during that holiday.

About the artist
I'm a contemporary visual artist from Glen Burnie, Maryland, who expresses his profound emotions using daily life situations, childhood memories, and nostalgic pop culture. The turbulence and triumphs of life have always inspired me. Cartoons and anime, the messages from lyrical content found in music, are also pieces of my inspiration. The representation of the halo of thrones in some of my works, defines the character’s perseverance. To be misunderstood, and endure so much pain and struggle, but yet continues to thrive. I'm spontaneous whenever I’m working. I love the freedom of improvising. I select what medium to use by mood. When people view my art, I want them to find my emotions as well as their own. I want it to appear as a mirror to connect with the viewer emotionally and spiritually.
