The 'Colour Vision' series is a sequel series to my theoretical 'Perspective Eye ' body of work, where I experiment in patterns with how one sees a colour adjacent to other colours, either enhancing or subduing the colour, seeming different in one's eye, going beyond aesthetics. Not only can it be a visual matter, but also be a playful psychological field, acting with a mood, altering the experience. In simple terms, it is a mindful game through the colour and the aesthetic of the entire painting. Minimalistic throughout and abstract in its entirety, it is inspired from my awareness of my surroundings, making it conjuring in colour and shape. Perhaps it is just imagination. The painting is worked on a gallery wrapped canvas with neatly painted sides and does not really need a frame. However, as shown in the images, it looks well with or without a frame.

Artist's commentary
Some art needs one's time to get appreciated and find a relation to a piece, whilst another can have that spontaneity, capable of grabbing that attention right away. With these kind of abstract paintings based on colour theory, I am presenting the ones that may need a pleasant while of subtlety to be best appreciated. The aesthetic of the design is purposely thought out and easy on the eye, complimented with the colours and patterns, seeking a holistic approach.
