About

Acrylic on canvas Depicted is a bobcat skull that goes through transformative colors and shapes. Braking down the simplicity of shapes as the skeleton is the simplest shape of a being.

Giavanni Alexander S's Perspective

A random fact I love is

I love the beauty of skeletal composition, the the depth of the skeletons are able to tell a story. Especially in the animal kingdom, the variety and differences are expansive compared to humanoid anatomy. Each species tells its only story and gives us insight into these creatures

Artist's commentary

Working with skeletons - have come appreciate the fact that they are an ever-present core of living things, Our brains are who we really are then our skeletons, muscles, and skin. The living only shows the superficial. But the dead show all of us. It's a beautiful core that we can witness, but never truely see ourselves, in that light. It's the base of life itself, allowing us to appreciate life through these works.
