About the artist
My name is Jasmin-Nicole, and I am a Ghanaian-Canadian visual artist and community arts facilitator. My art practice includes figurative art, abstraction, and sacred African braiding traditions. I create paintings, drawings, mixed media pieces, and public art that explores a wide spectrum of themes including community, ancestral memories, spirituality, dreamscapes, Black womanhood, and nature.
