About this artwork
The composition is of a local formation of trees planted to mark queen Victorias golden jubilee. But everyone I know thinks it’s a giant tree formed ‘V’ for victory. Whatever the meaning, here it is shrouded by a veil of mist.

About the artist
Born in Sussex, in the south of England and raised by two artists I was always brought up looking at the world with an artistic eye. Having experimented with different disciplines including painting, lighting, architecture and 3D design I have a broad set of influences regarding the way I see light, form and colour and express this in my artwork. I look to capture moments that I recognise as idealistic or evoke memories, and aim to capture a feeling in the work. If I can achieve this and push the work in a more abstract way using texture and composition then I am over the moon.
