About this artwork
Title: Tender Scars Dimensions: 30 by 30 inches Media: Drywall Compound, Paper Mache, Paint /Drawing from my personal journey, Tender Scars is a sculptural examination inspired by the physical scars I acquired on my neck and forehead during early childhood, around the age of 5. These scars serve as tangible reminders of past experiences, prompting a deeper exploration into the layers of emotion and resilience they represent. Through this piece, I aim to transform vulnerabilities into a narrative, inviting viewers to reflect on memory, time, and the beauty found within imperfections.
