About the artist
Rebecca Schneider is a multidisciplinary artist and abstract painter based in NYC with specialization in abstract expressionism, fashion illustration, and live art experiences. Signed "xo, Bex" - her works are a meditative exploration of life’s layered process. With a background in visual design, fashion history, and worldwide travel, she paints intuitively using light and color to express emotion. Whether through abstraction, portraiture, or still life, Schneider's aim is to bring peace and reflection to the walls of collectors and empower lives of confident presence. Rebecca’s layered paintings feature bold application of acrylic paint, layered washes, plaster, and oil pastels. Rebecca has painted for many private collectors from luxurious penthouses to cozy apartments to branded murals. Her work has been exhibited with Van Der Plas Gallery, creative.nyc’s “The Gallery,” and alongside brands such as Alice & Olivia, Dolce & Gabbana, Waldorf Astoria, Vogue, and many more.
