Drawing from the ritualistic and ongoing series “Periscope”. “Periscope” drawings are of an intimate nature and call for closeness. A journal of moments, each drawing depicts the embodied narrative of the artist at that time: the inner, the outer, thoughts, memories, the world’s news, or the imaginary. Each drawing is understood as an open window to be entered, and interpreted by the viewer. Different curated “Periscope” selections have been exhibited along the years, in solo and group exhibitions. They are also part of numerous collections.

In the early aftermath of the pandemic, this work collects a personal universe in which thoughts, feelings and the world’s realities are captured and interpreted. The drawing is both a medium to reinvent those converging realities, and also a lens for you, the viewer, through which to remember or discover your own stories.
