About this artwork
Royal star. Fomalhaut is the guardian of the southern sky and is sometimes called the loneliest star because it appears to light up most of the night sky on its own. Fomalhaut is associated with the return of light after a period of darkness and with finding the light within ourselves. It is found high in the sky during the transitional periods of autumn in the northern hemisphere and spring in the southern hemisphere. Fomalhaut has a powerful transformative energy, reminding us that everything is temporary. Everything in this life comes and goes, but with every death something is reborn. Compared to other Royal Stars, Fomalhaut is a much gentler energy and its vibrations seem to be more attuned to our soul energy than our human body. Fomalhaut can activate our spiritual gifts and enhance our psychic and intuitive abilities. Because it operates on a more subtle level, its essence can be difficult to define. In fact, this is also part of the nature of Fomalhaut. Its nature can make it difficult to stay grounded and can lead to escapism or loss of touch with reality. Part of the lesson Fomalhaut offers is to balance the energy between body and soul and use our talents for the greater good rather than for personal gain. Fomalhaut connects with the Sun from February 21 to 24, these days we can use its energy to strengthen our spiritual connection, work on our creative talents and remember that new beginnings are always offered when things fall away or end.
