In this painting, I wanted texture to be as expressive as color. Each brushstroke carries personal meaning, building a contemporary composition while preserving the vibrancy that defines my artwork. The visible layers and sweeping marks bring movement to the scene, inviting viewers to explore both the subject and the painted surface. The painting depicts a black cat attempting to steal an apple slice from a table filled with fruit. This playful moment brings curiosity and mischief to a traditional still life. Through rich colors, bold contrasts, and tactile details, I wanted to turn an everyday scene into something lively and full of personality.

As a artist i use my work to create a safe space where people can see into my mind through the colors and every brush stroke. I never really had much growing up but i always had my art. My art helped me through a lot of tough times and situations in the past I was used to being by myself most of my life even though I did have people around me.
