The inspiration behind this painting comes from my upbringing in Ghana, where Christmas is a time of vibrant celebrations, fireworks, and joy. But amidst the festivities, there are many who continue working tirelessly, unable to afford even the simplest luxuries. This painting highlights that contrast the coexistence of celebration and struggle.
