The motif of diving into the depths of the sea is an important theme in my art. For me, this is a metaphor for diving into myself. An attempt to know my nature. How we embrace gravity and slowly dive into the unknown. The deep can be terrifying, there are so many dangers in it. But the beauty hidden within is worth all the risks. The man in this picture is a daredevil. He wasn't afraid to jump into deadly waters. Maybe he will die, or maybe he will come back victorious. I paint my feelings and emotions in my paintings. I try to convey what I feel in metaphors. At the moment, this is one of my largest and most monumental paintings. I have been working on it for two and a half months. The composition, and the idea I came up with in 2017. A man surrounded by sharks....
