About this artwork
“Your and my garden” is the exhibition in 2017 to exhibit 100 drawings what he drew flowers blooming around his house. This drawing work is one of them. From No.96, rather than drawing each piece individually, I created works that tell a story with multiple pieces, like Monet's series. I saw a life as a cycle of seasons, and I sensed a similarly changing life in the life of a flower, and tried to paint the sequence of events. No.96 to 99 are drawings of a single marigold, No.100 is drawn a chrysanthemum bud in winter. ------------------------------- The name of this flower No.100, live 2017 Pastel, pigment, charcoal, Ink on paper 17.9 × 22.9 cm ------------------------------- There are small fold and wrinkle that occurred during making. On the back of the paper, there is paint from the making process, tears on the surface of the paper, and the paper is wrinkled due to water absorption. Please be aware of this in advance. I think it will look best if you would frame to use a floating frame without using the window of matte paper. For framing works, I would be happy if you could refer to the works that I posted in Peggy in the early days. Signed on the back.
