About this artwork
"Temporal Pause" captures the delicate balance between movement and stillness in a world that constantly accelerates around us. In an era defined by speed—where time is measured in moments of heightened urgency, constant connectivity, and the relentless push to accomplish more—this artwork invites the viewer to pause, breathe, and reconnect with the present moment. The artwork highlights the tension between external demands and the internal need for grounding. It symbolizes the act of finding one’s center amidst the chaos, of resisting the impulse to rush through life, and instead, intentionally slowing down to regain balance. The work embodies the mental and emotional state of stopping—if only for a moment—to reflect, re-center, and recalibrate. In a world that often encourages constant motion, Temporal Pause is a reminder that stillness, introspection, and deliberate pacing are necessary for maintaining our well-being.

About the artist
Yemru captures fleeting moments with a contemplative depth, revealing beauty in the transient and the overlooked. By blending sculptural elements with rich symbolism, Yemru work evokes nostalgia and introspection. In our fast-paced world, he offers a thoughtful invitation to pause and savor the delicate beauty of the present moment. Artist Statement "Waiting is a paradoxical state, simultaneously painful and joyful, a suspended mode that can be more challenging than mere unavailability. It blinds us to everything beyond what we await, even if those things might be better. It leaves our inner peace vulnerable, making it impossible to settle for anything less than our desired outcome. While waiting may offer hope, it often pulls us back, intensifying our longing. Yet, when we finally reach what we've been waiting for, it often becomes elusive and distant. I explore the concept of waiting through everyday experiences. By observing and depicting human emotions in my environment, I use sculptural figures to convey a sense of stillness and introspection. These figures, combined with symbolic elements, tell stories that deepen the audience's understanding of my work. I invite viewers to pause, reflect, and appreciate the fleeting beauty of the present moment.
