This 100 x 120cm artwork intricately weaves together acrylic paint, wall paint, charcoal, and oil pastels to present a dual narrative. Against a tumultuous, stormy sky in the background, another story unfolds in the foreground. Characters go about their daily lives, confined to their societal boxes, seemingly unaware of the impending storm. This storm serves as a potent metaphor for the contemporary world's challenges: a bubbling cauldron of social unrest, environmental crises, and political tensions. The juxtaposition of daily life against the stormy backdrop invites viewers to contemplate the fragility of societal norms in the face of larger, looming issues. Ignorance is bliss until it’s not.

What inspires me ? The mind-blowing complexity of human emotions and wildlife. Self-taught Anglo-French abstract artist, based in Ireland and the UK. My goal is to raise awareness about the beauty of the world and the finite aspect of life, by integrating fragments of dreams and elements of fauna & flora across my portfolio, combined with bold geometric shapes. I use colour psychology to find the right assemblage of colours to sooth and satisfy minds.
