About this artwork
36” x 36” mixed media painting. This piece is the second piece from my Self Work Collection. This collection captures imagery of places I consider paradise, reflecting the serene state my mind reaches when I am deeply immersed in my craft. Yet, it also represents a deliberate act of letting go. Through these works, I confront my own compulsion for precision, embracing the imperfect and the unfilled spaces in both the canvas and in life. "Self Work" is a message to myself and to the viewer: that there is beauty and peace in surrendering the need to control every outcome. It is a practice in trusting the process, in allowing the work to breathe on its own terms.
