About this artwork
SOLD Peace and Calm is the second piece from my ‘Sensory’ collection. ‘Sensory’ is a collection of artworks that are a tribute to a bygone era, a time when life was experienced through the richness of physical textures, patterns, and face-to-face moments, rather than the filtered lens of the digital world. Each piece in this series is inspired by a deep nostalgia for the past, where patterns and vibrant colors were not just design elements, but reflections of a more grounded and tactile existence. By weaving intricate, bold patterns into each work, I seek to transport the viewer back to a time when design, quiet, and a more sensory experience was an integral part of daily life. The retro-inspired aesthetics evoke an era when there was more emphasis on the present, and each artwork invites the audience to pause and appreciate the tangible beauty in the world around them. Through this collection, I aim to revive the joy of patterns and bring focus back to a sensory experience that feels both familiar and refreshingly vivid. ✦ Mixed media and on stretched canvas ✦ 24" x 30" ✦ Unique, one-of-a-kind artwork ✦ This artwork will need to be stretched upon arrival.
