I am a passionate about my art, I put my all into each piece and work very hard to convey the message each piece wants to speak. I began painting in 2017, though I have no formal training, I have accomplished over a hundred commissions in my local community by word of mouth. When the client sees my work they request their own. I am married for 31 years, I have a sweet painting companion named Hana Kealani, a 2 year old Max MinPin. I have worked part time in my local public school as a Teaching Assistant for the past 10 years. I am a type A, perfectionist longing to create looser more fluid painting. I have created many fluid Art pieces, but my passion is to create paintings that originate in my mind. To put them to canvas is rewarding and satisfying. My main work has been pet portraits with some family portraits but I prefer to paint my original pieces. My local community is small so selling my original work is quite difficult, they can’t justify spending money for something to hang on their wall. I have sold a few of my original art but due to the economic status of our small town it isn’t feasible and lack local collectors. I focus on beauty in nature rather than political or environmental views or messages.
