About this artwork
Haven Beyond Reach" emphasizes the idea that the pavilion is a sanctuary of peace and rest, a safe haven amidst the wilderness, but it's not easily accessible. The two roads surrounding it symbolize the paths travelers take in life, but there is no direct way to reach this place of ultimate tranquility. This suggests that peace and rest are often distant, elusive, or something we long for but struggle to attain directly. The title evokes a sense of yearning for inner calm, and the idea that true serenity might exist beyond what we can immediately reach or see.
