This is how I imagine a wall would look through time, lots of layers and textures with foil sand and paper built onto developing this. Perfect for modern space! "Deevaar," translating to "wall," stands as a testament to resilience. This enduring presence has borne witness to countless lives, experiences, and emotions. It has weathered the ever-shifting tides of change, transcending both time and space. The vibrant essence that emanates from it is a vivid reflection of its unwavering strength and enduring spirit.

Born in India and educated in a Middle Eastern convent, my formative years unfolded amid the vibrant neighbourhoods of Queens and Brooklyn, New York. The stark contrasts in societies and cultures, and the journey of navigating life while preserving my Indian roots, deeply inspire my artwork. Through textured creations, I offer poignant glimpses into moments spanning various epochs. My art gracefully embodies a profound fusion of cultures, delving into themes of identity, survival, and assimilation. By harmonizing paint, paper, photography, typography, and foliage, my pieces extend a heartfelt invitation to explore the intricate facets of belonging amidst life's ever-changing nature. With a background in Art and Advertising Design from NYC College of Technology, I spent years in graphic design before the pandemic reignited my passion for fine art. I've had the privilege to share my work at various juried art exhibits including Riverdale ArtWalk, Art at The Pumphouse, Westland Gallery, Taren White Gallery, The Jackalope Gallery, Cabbagetown Art and Crafts, Museum of Dufferin Unity In Diversity Exhibition, All Guilds Show at Art Gallery of Burlington, Vaughan Film Festival, Dundas Valley School Of Art Annual Art Auction, Women' Art Association of Canada and many more. In 2024, St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto has added my largest painting, ‘Chakras,’ to their Robert Howard and Brenda McDowell Patient and Family Learning Centre. This vibrant abstract now brightens their ‘Joy’ collection, fostering positivity and hope. It’s an immense honour to contribute to a space dedicated to learning, healing and support for patients and their families.
