This piece is part of a new series that I have been working on this year, inspired by the urban experience of reflections and glass, of figures half-seen through cafe windows, of cars, lights and all the multi-sensory moments in the city. I am also interested in narrative, and in suggesting fragments of stories for the viewer. This is developed through layers of imagery, carefully built up in oil paint.
