I loved sailing as it brings a powerfull feeling of freedom and a challenge to face the swell and the wind. In this painting I wanted to transcribe the adrenaline rush that occurs when a gust shakes the boat. It is by the superposition of the representation of the boat made of a light and transparent oil where the sails vibrate thanks to a texture obtained by the collage of tissue paper, superposition with a graphic and abstract gesture made with the collage of sand, that I put in place these opposing forces.
