About this artwork
Oil on Dibond, 30 x 30 x 0.2 cm, 2024 The Temple of Poseidon near Athens evoking the grandeur and majesty of this ancient site. I aimed to create a blend of realism and impressionism, focusing on the interplay of light and shadow to bring out the temple’s architectural beauty. Through this artwork, I seek to convey a deep respect for the history and cultural significance of the Temple of Zeus, inviting viewers to reflect on the enduring legacy of the ancient world. Framing on request.

About the artist
I am an autodidact without any classical art education. I have been painting for more than 8 years now, working almost exclusively in oil. I live and work in Potsdam/Berlin, Germany. My artistic journey began with the inspiration of Camille Pissarro's impressionistic depictions of the Boulevard Montmartre and the cityscapes of contemporary artist Jeremy Mann. To this day, urban motifs are my métier, I am attracted to depicting geometric forms of urbanity with color, which tends to spread organically over the painting surface. I also occasionally paint landscapes and, more recently, great moments in football.
