About this artwork
Oil on Dibond, 30 x 30 x 0.2 cm, 2024 The Acropolis in Athens. Capturing the timeless essence and historical significance of these ancient ruins. I aimed to blend realism with an impressionistic touch, emphasizing the textures and light to convey a sense of nostalgia and reverence for the ancient world. Through this work, I want to highlight both the beauty of the Acropolis and its enduring impact on the present. Framing on request.

About the artist
I am an autodidact without any classical art education. I have been painting for more than 8 years now, working almost exclusively in oil. I live and work in Potsdam/Berlin, Germany. My artistic journey began with the inspiration of Camille Pissarro's impressionistic depictions of the Boulevard Montmartre and the cityscapes of contemporary artist Jeremy Mann. To this day, urban motifs are my métier, I am attracted to depicting geometric forms of urbanity with color, which tends to spread organically over the painting surface. I also occasionally paint landscapes and, more recently, great moments in football.
