Laura Thipphawong's Perspective

Living with this artwork is like

Being in the presence of sensuality, calmness, and inspiration. The lush, transcendent feeling of regeneration is what this painting is all about.

A random fact I love is

A few different people have asked me if this painting is about psychedelic drugs, or microdosing, as they read the mushroom and frog as symbols of hallucination. To me, those are symbols of growth and regeneration, but I love that people can make their own meaning out of these symbols. It’s amazing to hear how various people will interpret the work and find their own narratives in it.
