About this artwork
This oil on wood panel is a work reflecting on composition, and how the use of cellphones and the access to photography they offer mold proportions, compositions and perceptions in today’s photography. Especially by using its different lens, cellphone photography can transform the beloved people of our lives to near strangers. This painting is the transformation of a personal moment that becomes generic by its treatment. This artwork comes with a certificate of authenticity. Please note that the wood panel has rounded corners.

About the artist
I am a Franco-Canadian oil painter. Interested in highlighting the difficulties and beauty of the human experience, I create works with bright, saturated colors touching on displacement, emotional vulnerability, femininity, ideals and social norms. My work is a direct reflection of my psychological and philosophical questionnings, and is ever evolving, interested in creating works that can stand the test of time.
