This oil on wood is a reflection on vulnerability, childhood, and an introspection on the care and attention needed to realize the abundance that surrounds us. Colors as sour as the almost ripe wild strawberry you are about to eat, you can’t walk carefree in a wild strawberry field. There needs to be presence within oneself in order to realize the bounty hidden in the grass. Careful steps may insure a full belly. Comes with a certificate of authenticity. The wood panel has rounded corners.

Artist's commentary
Finding inspiration with personal imagery and memories, I find, make my pieces much more emotionally charged, which is something I strive for when creating art.
