Sophie Edell is a visual artist residing in the Eastern Townships region of Quebec, Canada. Edell grew up in Toronto, and moved to Montreal in 2007 to study art at Concordia University. Since graduating in 2011, Edell has explored many artistic avenues from drawing and painting, to textiles and design. She returned with focus to her love of painting in the summer of 2020 after a move from the city to a more rural setting.
