Estimated Value: $100 This piece is a recreation of a photograph of my mum, brother and I, a photo that is truly near to my heart now that both my brother and I have left our childhood home and country. I wanted to recreate that feeling of safety and closeness in my own art style, as it was a time where I felt love and protected from the harshness of the world, specifically adulthood. As an adult I do look on moments like that as something precious, and I acknowledge that it they are something that I have lost for which there must be a grieving period. I have always been one to navigate my emotions through art so when the time came to leave home, I created this piece for my mum, brother and myself, with love.
