Emerging artist Filip Pavlik’s has a very hands-on approach of his art practice. Influenced by American expressionism and French impressionism, light and color combinations play a decisive part in his abstract paintings.Particularly impressed by Jackson Pollock’s action painting, Pavlik’s technique is ultimately physical. The painter engages is whole body in the painting process, leaning the canvas on the ground and using classical brushes,wall painting brushes, sticks and his own hands directly on the surface.Initially trained as an architect, Filip Pavlik soon turned to painting to explore his inner creativity.
