About this artwork
I visited a beautiful Japanese garden in Japan and felt compelled to paint it. I wanted to capture the zen felt when sitting in a traditional Japanese garden, as I tried to bring a little zen to all of our lives.

About the artist
I am an impressionist-inspired painter of peaceful scenes, especially waterscapes. My paintings have been known to bring a feeling of tranquility as they are imbued with warm, radiating contentment. My contemporary take on Impressionism is created by adding depth and interest to my dreamy pieces with tactile, textured effects.
