A time. A place. The personas. This is my work. The emotional climate of the ‘time-series’ is influenced by historical events, colour trends, fashion and music of a specific year in time. These works embrace the story that is long lost, remembering the things that are forgotten. ‘The place’, whether from memory, fantasy or longing, will call you to a space in need of envisioning, a place that needs to be re-visited, a calling for a personal encounter. Why mostly Blooms? They represent a beginning and an end. They allow us to ponder on new possibilities, of what is hidden or of what is yet to come. Blooms speak a language of sensuality and longing. They have been present in all moments throughout time. They have been burdened or blessed, while silently gathering the stories of the momental happenings.
