About the artist
In the fluidity of paint, I find a language of emotion and experience. Each block of colour is a fragment of memory, reshaped and redefined. Drawing upon grid-based compositions I navigate themes of trauma and healing. Through the interplay of form and emotion, I seek to turn darkness into light. With every square of colour I find beauty within sadness. I use the tapestry of my personal memories and experiences to create a body of work of introspection.
