Born 1991 in Morristown, New Jersey Lives and works between Toronto, Canada and North Adams, MA, USA Before arriving in the United States and discovering her love of printmaking, artist Kelsey-Lynn Corradetti studied dance and painting at the Quinte Ballet School of Canada, the Banff Center for Arts and Creativity, and the Nutmeg Conservatory for the Arts. Drawing on her training in both movement/action and painting, monoprinting is her preferred method of art making. She spent the last few years developing a language of line and color that links her to action painters and process-based artists. The implied finality of works pulled from plate beds allows Corradetti the finality she desires but struggled to find in painting processes where she was never able to let a work be finished.
